NHMUK PI OR 96907, holotype.
Remarks.
This taxon is probably of Pliocene age, found at Hobart, Tasmania in Yellow Limestone (Travertine). Kershaw (1987) copied Sowerby’s figure and discussed the relationship between this taxon and Bothriembryon tasmanicus (Pfeiffer, 1853). A photograph of the holotype of Bothriembryon gunnii is here presented for the first time since its original publication.
