Goja risaraldensis View in CoL n. sp. Male

( Figs 19–24 View FIGURES 19‒24 )

Diagnosis. Similar to P. andina n. sp., from which it differs in the wing venation, in having larger external parameres, in the head pattern, and in the endophallic sclerites (Compare Figs 1–2 View FIGURES 1‒6 with 19–20, 3 with 21, and 6 with 24 in this paper). Apex of the aedeagal arch robust, with the posterior border concave and a pair of the left endophallic sclerites more widened distally than in P. andina ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 19‒24 ).

Color (in 80% ethanol). Body brown with light spots. Head pattern ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 19‒24 ); forehead brown, with broad ochre band between the compound eyes, enclosing the ocellar group. Compound eyes dark brown; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Anteclypeus brown, with ochre striae converging mesally as illustrated; labrum dark brown; genae cream to light brown, with ochre anterior areas; pre- and postgenitalia cream. Base of maxillae cream, with brown spots, maxillary palps brown, Mx4 darker.Antennae light brown. Thorax light brown, pronotum cream, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown; pleura cream, with ochre spots. Legs light brown, coxae with basal ochre spots. Wings hyaline, veins light brown. Forewings ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 19‒24 ) with abundant brown setae. Abdomen cream, with ochre brown subcuticular spots. Clunium, epiproct and paraprocts light brown, with brown spots. Hypandrium light brown. Phallosome proximally creamy, distally brown; aedeagal arch and endophallic sclerites dark brown, external parameres brown.

Morphology. Head: H/MxW: 1.48; compound eyes small, H/d: 3.75; IO/MxW: 0.61. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with seven denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.15. Labrum elongate, lower margin with a pair of projections with rounded apex, with five distal sensillae, one central placoid, flanked by a pair of trichoid-placoid. Forewings ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 19‒24 ): FW/W: 2.81; pterostigma elongate, wider in the middle: lp/wp: 6.04; Rs with seven branches; areola postica elongate: al/ah: 4.32; M with six branches, M5 and M6 forked. Hindwings ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 19‒24 ): HW/w: 3.12. Rs and M with four branches. Legs: Fore- tarsi without ctenidiobothria, mid- and hind- tarsi with ctenidiobothria. Hypandrium ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 19‒24 ) broad, setose, posterior border slightly concave in the middle. Phallosome ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 19‒24 ): deeply obtusely concave anteriorly, side struts slender, straight; aedeagal arch robust, apically with two short projections, directed outward; external parameres well developed, inner border almost straight, outer border rounded, right one distally acuminate, left one blunt distally. Three pairs of asymmetric endophallic sclerites, as illustrated ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 19‒24 ). Clunium projecting posteriorly over the area of the epiproct. Paraprocts large, broadly elliptic ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 19‒24 ), setae on posterior border as illustrated with setae and macrosetae; large elliptic sensory fields with 32-33 trichobothria in basal rosettes. Epiproct convex anteriorly, sides converging to almost straight posterior border; four macrosetae mesally, other setae as illustrated ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 19‒24 ) broad.
