Notes.
Neokalmusia was established by Ariyawansa et al. (2014b) to accommodate two bambusicolous taxa, N. brevispora and N. scabrispora , previously referred to Kalmusia . Members of Neokalmusia are characterised by solitary sphaeroid ascomata, a peridium of small pseudoparenchymatous cells, clavate basal asci with very long pedicels, very thin pseudoparaphyses and distoseptate, smooth-walled ascospores ( Ariyawansa et al. 2014b; Zhang et al. 2020a). In this study, we introduce a new species of Neokalmusia , based on a combination of morphological and molecular analyses (Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ).
