Holotype female (n° 4441); Brazil: Minas Gerais, Brejo das Almas; A. Vianna Martins col., XI-1937 (genitalia on slide 4649).

Note: Almeida et al. (2014) mentioned that this holotype was in the Costa Lima collection, but it has not been found by us. The original description stated that it was deposited in the “Instituto de Experimentação Agrícola” (part of the “Departamento Nacional de Pesquisa e Experimentação Agrícola”, discontinued in 1973 with the creation of the “Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária”). The specimen might be now in the “Museu Nacional”, Rio de Janeiro, where several of Wygodzinsky’s types previously deposited in the “Instituto de Experimentação Agrícola” have been found (e.g. Gil-Santana & Forero 2010).
