Comments. Currently, ten Euepedanus species—with E. trispinosus Roewer, 1915 , as type species—are registered from Southeastern Asia and China. Seven species— E. orientalis (Hirst, 1912) , E. chaiensis Suzuki, 1969 , E. dividuus Suzuki, 1969 , E. similis Suzuki, 1985 , E. pentaspinulatus Suzuki, 1985 , E. spinosus Suzuki, 1985 and Е. dash- damirovi Zhang & Martens, 2020 —are known from Thailand, one species— E. trispinosus Roewer, 1915 —from Singapore and Malaysia, one species— E. vietnamicus sp. nov. —from Vietnam and one species— E. flavimaculatus Zhu & Lian, 2006 —from China. Euepedanus vietnamicus sp. nov. is the first representative of the genus Euepedanus in Vietnam.
