Brachymeria amenocles View in CoL , which is widely distributed in the Afrotropical region, is also recorded from Ethiopia. The type locality Massawa has been assigned erroneousely to Somalia by NARENDRAN & ACHTERBERG (2016: 74) and to Kenya by DELVARE & HUCHET (2017).
