Distribution.

Uganda (Fig. 299).

Ecology.

This is the only species in this genus. It lives at high altitudes (3200-4000 m) on the Ruwenzori Massif, and is associated with the Ericetum ( Ericaceae ) plant community ( Biondi 2001a).
