Belize. Belize: 19 miles NW Belize City , Aug. 11, 1977, E. W. and L. O’Brien and Marshall; (2 specimens, BYUC) . New Country Record.

Microrhopala erebus View in CoL was previously known from the United States and Mexico ( Staines 2006). Adult beetles have been associated with Solidago sp. (Asteraceae) ( Staines 2006).
