TYPE LOCALITY: Costa Rica, Cartago, Tres Rios .

DISTRIBUTION: W. Colombia; Central America north to Belize and Honduras.

COMMENT: Included in cinerea by Pine, 1973, in Collins, but treated as a separate species by Kirsch and Calaby, 1977:14.
