Distribution. Brazil (Rio de Janeiro State).

Diagnosis. Male: Unique by presence of unique sub-basal spine (Figs. 20 and 21). Cercus in lateral view: dorsobasal expansion present. Ventrobasal expansion present and curved inward forming long sub-basal spine. Remainder almost straight (Fig. 20B). Cercus in mediodorsal view: apical, basal and medial portions subequal. Ventral expansion present. Ventral branch of medial process shaped as a narrow rectangular, slightly curved plate, with sclerotized ridge dividing it in the middle. Dorsal branch of medial process very small and triangular, attached at mid length of sclerotized ridge (Fig. 20A). Female: Posterior lobe of prothorax roughly triangular with small notch in middle, detached from medial lobe and covered with long hairs, pale brown with large ovoid black spot in middle and small black spot at each tip (Fig. 45C); valves of ovipositor not reaching distal S10, ventral margin with barely visible spines ( Fig. 48A View FIGURE 48 ); cercus longer than S10, without bristles at tip ( Fig. 48A View FIGURE 48 ); Basal plate: dorsal edge an inverted S-shape, longer than convex outer edge. Ventral side 1/2 length of outer edge ( Fig. 48B View FIGURE 48 ).
