Neohydatothrips John View in CoL
There are 112 species listed in this Thripidae-Sericothripinae. The type species, N. latereostriatus John was described from Brazil, but other members of the genus are found widely around the world. Within the Sericothripinae, members of this genus can be recognized by the metasternum connected in the middle with a T-shaped or Y-shaped apodeme .
