Kiotina View in CoL sp.

Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 .

Material examined. Two females, China: Zhejiang Province, Quzhou City, Yaowang Mountain , 28°46′23″N, 118°58′33″E, 250 m, 28 April 2020, leg. Xiao-Han Ye (ICJUST) GoogleMaps .

Female ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ). Body length ca. 20.0 mm. Head with a transverse reddish band covering the ocellate area; triocellate, anterior ocellus smaller than posterior ones; M-line pale. Pronotum oval, mostly black with pale lateral margins, covered with rugosities. Wing membrane mostly dark brown except for the pale costal area, veins dark. Subgenital plate originating from half-length of sternum 8, basal half with parallel lateral margins, apical half near trapezoidal, apex slightly notched, exceeding posterior margin of sternum 10.

Remarks. The head pattern and subgenital plate of this species is apparently separable from K. yexiaohani . When compared with the three species of Kiotina known from Zhejiang Province, the subgenital plate shape of this species is most similar to that of K. nigra ( Fig. 8I View FIGURE 8 ), but the body color is not as “blackish” as K. nigra ( Wu 1938) . The subgenital plate shape of this species is apparent different from the posteriorly constricted plate in K. chekiangensis ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ; see fig. 157 in Wu 1938). The female of K. bilobata remains unknown ( Mo et al. 2019). The above females may represent an undescribed species, but final determination will not be possible without associated males.
