Distribution. India, Sri Lanka ( World Spider Catalog 2021).
Remarks. This species was originally described from Sri Lanka (O. Pickard-Cambridge 1897). Reimoser (1934) recorded this species for the first time from India. This species was redescribed and well-illustrated by Sudhin et al. (2016), based on type and non-type material.
