Material examined. CHILE, San Carlos: 1♀ ( NMPC, transferred to alcohol vial) (Labels, kept in box IV.17: Museum Paris / Chili / Gay 15-43 (printed); 15 / 43 (handwritten round label); San Carlos (handwritten, maybe of Gay)).

Remarks. The subgenital plate of the specimen differs from the four described species of Teutoperla ( Fig. 7– 8 ). As four unnamed species are already reported from Chile ( Shepard & Baumann 2011), we do not name specifically this taxon on the basis of a single female in poor condition.
