CURRENT STATUS. Valid species in the genus Ammobatoides Radoszkowski, 1867
according to Radoszkowski (1867)
DISTRIBUTION. Russia: Crimea, European part, Ural, Siberia; Europe, Caucasus,
Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, China.
REMARK. The species was described from the specimens without sex definition collected in “prov. Orenburgensi, in promontoriis Uralensibus”. There are five specimens
(females) in IZKP from this locality (Orenburg Prov.), which corresponds to the original description of Eversmann. One of this female is designated here as a lectotype of Phileremus abdominalis Eversmann ( Fig. 9 View Figs 1–24 ) .
