Etymology. The specific name is an adjective derived from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Cheiramiona boschrandensis sp. nov. is similar to C. upperbyensis sp. nov. in the posterior lip-like extension of epigastric fold and in the length and direction of the copulatory tubes, but is differentiated by the Yshaped central depression and the more rounded SPER ( Figs 5–6 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 , 95–96 View FIGURES 85 – 96. 85 – 90 ).

Description. Female (n = 1): TL = 5.80; CL = 2.30; CW = 1.90; OAL = 0.40; OAW = 1.15; CLL = 0.05. Chelicerae: robust with long fangs; PMT:RMT = 3:2 ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 ). Measurements: AME–AME 0.10; AME–ALE 0.15; AME diameter 0.15; PME–PME 0.20; PME–PLE 0.15; PME diameter 0.15; MOQAW 0.40; MOQPW 0.50; CI (CL/CW) 1.21; LL:CL 4.70; STL 1.10; STW 1.05. Leg measurements: I—3.1+1.0+2.6+3.1+1.0 = 10.8; II— 2.0+0.8+1.5+2.0+0.6 = 6.9; III—1.6+0.7+1.1+1.6+0.5 = 5.5; IV—2.4+0.8+1.8+2.4+0.6 = 8.0; Palp— 0.9+0.4+0.5+0.7 = 2.5. Leg spines: I—0, 0, 2v- 0- 1 v; II—0, 0, 0-0- 1 v; III—0, 0, 0-0-3 v1 p1r; IV—0, 0-0-1r, 2v- 2 v1 p1r-3 v1 p1r. Abdomen: creamy-yellow with a heart mark, without other markings. Epigynum ( Figs 5–6 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 ): wider than long, with small Y-shaped central depression; copulatory openings placed anteriorly in depression; epigastric fold forming lip-like extension, with median cavity connected to fertilization tubes; internally, short, broad copulatory ducts proceed posteriorly and laterally before ending in median part of SPER; fertilization tubes enter SPER posteriorly. Male: unknown.
