Type specimen: male; type locality: Guizhou, China; location of type specimen: Zoological Institute , Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg ( ZIN) .
Female. Appearance is similar to male. Fastigium verticis disappeared. Eyes reduced. Internal genicular lobe of fore femur with 1 small spine, external genicular lobe with 1 long spine; apices of fore and mid tibia with 1 pair of ventral spines separately, between the paired ventral spines unarmed; hind tibia with 25–29 inner spines and 22–24 outer spines on dorsal surface, intero-dorsal spine shorter than hind basitarsus, which without dorsal spine, ventral surface with bristles. Ovipositor longer than half of hind femur, slightly straight, dorsal margin smooth, apical areas of ventral margin denticulate. Subgenital plate triangular, apex acute.
Material examined. 3 males and 2 females, Dongbei Cave, Yuping Town , Libo County, Guizhou, 13 April, 2011, coll. Huiming Chen.
Distribution. China (Guizhou).
Discussion. This species is very similar to Tachycines (Gymnaeta) ferecaecus ( Gorochov, Rampini & Di Russo, 2006) , the most distinct difference between them are that: T. (G.) ferecaecus ( Gorochov, Rampini & Di Russo, 2006) with 9–12 spines on dorsal surface of hind tibia, while T. (G.) proximus ( Gorochov, Rampini & Di Russo, 2006) with 22–32 spines.
