“É poco frequente e lo si prende soltanto nel siti di pesca dell’isolato di Neandros allorquando adoperarsi, special- mente nei mesi di marzo, aprile e maggio, le grandi sciabiche per scombri, ed alle quali al aggiungono le tasche o sacchi proprie per la pesca delle acciughe. Però raramente capita questa specie sul mercato di Costantinopoli, poi- ché data la poca quantità che no vien pressa, viene consumata sul luogo. Ama nuotare alla superficie dell’acqua.” - It is infrequent and it is only taken at the fishing sites of the Neandros 1 block when it is used, especially in the months of March, April and May, the large mackerel trawlers, and to which they add their own pockets or bags for fishing for anchovies.
