DISTRIBUTION. Southeastern part of Western Europe, southern European Russia (new record), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

REMARKS. Identification of A. quadrum is based on comparison with the drawing from the original description [ Herrich-Schäffer, 1838] ( Fig. 5 ). The drawing of the pygofer lobe in Dlabola [1956] is somewhat inaccurate.
