R e m a r k s: Recently recorded from Sicily by SCHMID- EGGER (2003). Widely distributed in the Palaearctic region, most common in the northern territories, it becomes rare in the southern part. Its presence in Algeria is doubtful (BITSCH & LECLERCQ 1993). It is recorded from peninsular Italy, as south as Campania.
