Material examined

Three specimens; two of which are from an undetermined moss sample developing on rock, and one specimens from an undetermined moss sample developing on a tree.

Remarks

Doryphoribius gibber was recorded only from North America (Oklahoma). The specimens from south Mexico are identical to those from North America but have a gibbosity dorsal to the first, second and third pairs of legs. These gibbosities are slightly visible in the type material and they have not been described, but we ascertained that they are present. In conclusion we ascertained that in D. gibber in the second, fourth and sixth lines six gibbosities are present, but the lateral ones are less visible than the dorsal ones.
