WL: 23mm. B. istaris is predominantly a semi-deciduous forest species, ranging from Guinea-Bissau to Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, DRC, Uganda, northwestern Tanzania, southern Sudan and western Kenya (Larsen, 2005). The host-plants remain unknown, but are very likely Poaceae .
