71. Anthene sylvanus sylvanus ( Drury, 1773) View in CoL

WL: 15mm. A. sylvanus is a forest species whose nominate subspecies is known along all West African countries, from Senegal to Nigeria, and eastwards from Cameroon to Congo. The caterpillars are probably polyphagous and are associated with ants of the Pheidole and Camponotus genera.
