Material. New Caledonia: 1Ƥ (MNHN-IU-2007-4732), station DW2034, 23°41’S 167°41’E, 22 X 2003, depth 485–506 m, Ride de Norfolk, Banc Stylaster. Lozonet, Samedi & Richer-IRD coll.
Remarks. Ascorhynchus seticauda is known only from New Caledonia (type locality) and the Solomon Islands ( Bamber, 2004b), in depths from 366 to 830 m.
