Diagnosis. Males differ from congeners by having a cylindrical and roundly bent embolus (vs. short, conical and not bent), and by the concave tip of the terminal apophysis (vs. rounded, abrupt or pointed). Females differ from other Asian species by having an undivided fovea and the indistinct glands of the receptacles (vs. fovea either absent and/or copulatory openings located in their own foveae, glands of receptacles distinct).

Distribution. This species has the widest range among all phrurolithids and is known from the Iberian Peninsula to Japan ( WSC 2020). Widespread in Iran, with three records from Azerbaijan ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 ).
