Distribution. Macaronesia, North Africa, Southern Europe, Caucasus, Middle East, Central Asia, China, Japan, Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia (Sumatra).
Comment. In Iraq, this species was previously reported from Salahaddin Province ( Reimoser, 1913), Baghdad, Karbala ( Baker & Ali, 2020) and Basrah ( Najim & Al-Hadlag 2022).
