• Medium-sized to large prosimians with forelimbs slightly shorter than hindlimbs, elongated, tapering snout, eyes slightly laterally directed, rounded ears (some tufted), short, dense fur, and long tail.

• Dry, subhumid and humid primary and degraded forests, and dense bamboo and vines, reed beds, and papyrus marsh.
