Platygaster zosine Walker, 1835
Recorded from near London by Walker (1835). The identification of this species by Gahan (1933) is wrong. What Gahan described and figured was in fact a species new to science, later described as P. leptoptera Buhl, 1999 . The lectotype of P. zosine has occiput strongly transversely striated, forewing 2.4 times as long as wide, and T2 striated to two-thirds of its length. Platygaster leptoptera has occiput hardly striated, forewing 3.2 times as long as wide, and T2 smooth.
