Recorded from near London by Walker (1835), from Ireland by O’Connor et al. (2004), and from the Isle of Man by Buhl and Bennett (2009). The scutellar spine of this species is in fact semitransparent brownish towards tip, not “massive” as stated by Vlug (1985).
