Recorded as British by Curtis (1830), but most authors have possibly misinterpreted Jurine’s species which probably does not answer to that of Curtis and others. Recorded from Ireland by Buhl and O’Connor (2009) and from the Isle of Man by Buhl and Bennett (2009) following the current interpretation of the species, used by e.g. Szelényi (1938) and Kozlov (1978).
