Platygaster gorge Walker, 1835
Recorded from near London by Walker (1835). According to Vlug (1985) the preapical antennal segments of female are wider than long. In fact they are each as long as wide. Platygaster gorge has occiput more strongly striated than in the similar P. nigra Nees.
