Etymology L nana HNS , dwarf, alluding to small size.
Diagnosis A medium-sized member of the flavens HNS group, most similar to borgmeieri HNS , differing from it and other species of the group as follows.
Major: profile of promesonotum in side view forming a single, smooth, near perfect semicircle; in dorsal-oblique view, humerus rises well above the remainder of the pronotum and the mesonotum; propodeal spine long and thin; postpetiolar node from above bellshaped; carinulae cover dorsal surface of head except for occiput as spaces next to the posterior reaches of the frontal carinae, as well as the frontal triangle and mid-clypeus; anterior margin of pronotum carinulate.
Minor: profile of promesonotum forms a smooth, nearly perfect semicircle; propodeal spines relatively long and thin; frontal carinae and carinulae mesad to it reach almost to occiput.
Measurements (mm) Lectotype major: HW 0.90, HL 0.86, SL 0.54, EL 0.08, PW 0.44.
Paralectotype minor: HW 0.46, HL 0.54, SL 0.46, EL 0.04, PW 0.32.
Color Major: concolorous brownish yellow.
Minor: concolorous yellowish brown.
Range Mato Grosso, Brazil.
Biology Unknown.
