Type Locality: Solomon Isls, Santa Isabel Isl.

Vernacular Names: Isabel Island Solomys.

Distribution: Recorded only from Santa Isabel Isl ( Flannery and Wickler, 1990).

Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.

Discussion: Represented by extant specimens; no archaeological fragments have been uncovered. Reviewed by Flannery (1995 b).
