Etymology. The species is named after the collector, Mr. Zhengfu Yang, a colleague at Guizhou Normal University, China, name in genitive case.

Diagnosis. Leptonetela yangi sp. nov. is similar to L. liping sp. nov., but differs in having a sharper embolus, shorter conductor, biforked median apophysis (not forked in L. liping sp. nov.), the absence of an earlobe-shaped process on pedipalpal tarsus (present in L. liping sp. nov.) and the presence of 6 white eyespots (4 in L. liping sp. nov.).

Description. Holotype male. Total length 2.20. Prosoma 1.00 long, 0.86 wide. Sternum 0.64 long, 0.58 wide. Opisthosoma 1.12 long, 0.92 wide. Dorsal shield of prosoma yellow, one stiff seta on anterior area of ALE, 2 on antrolateral area of PME. Thoracic median groove fuscous, needle-shaped. Cervical groove and radial furrows distinct, brown yellow. Clypeus 0.21 high, slightly sloped anteriorly, clypeal area covered with thin short setae. Six eyes white, lacking black rings. ALE and PLE ovoid, PME subround. Eye sizes: ALE 0.05, PLE 0.05, PME 0.03; ALE-ALE 0.02, ALE-PME 0.10, PLE-PLE 0.12, PLE-PME 0.06; AER 0.13, PER 0.18. Major axes of PLE parallel. Chelicerae yellow, longer than endites in length, fang furrow with 8 promarginal and 5 retromarginal teeth. Endites, labium and legs yellow, sternum brown yellow. Leg measurements: I 9.15 (2.50, 0.35, 2.65, 2.15, 1.50); II 7.43 (2.10, 0.33, 2.10, 1.70, 1.20); III 6.28 (1.80, 0.33, 1.70, 1.45, 1.00); IV 8.03 (2.25, 0.34, 2.24, 1.95, 1.25). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Femur I with 2 spines, femora II–IV spineless. One dorsal seta at patella distally. All tibiae modified by 3 trichobothtia and 2 setae. A row of soft hairs along tibiae I and II retrolaterally. A cluster of serrated hairs-comb on ventral base of metatarsi II and III respectively. Only one trichobothrium on each metatarsus. Opisthosoma pale, ovoid, lacking pigmentation, covered with yellow hairs, slightly rugose posteriorly.

Pedipalpal femur spineless. A dorsal seta at patella distally. Pedipalpal tibia with 3 dorsal trichobothria and 5 retrolateral large spurs, of them tibial spur I longest. Pedipalpal tarsus smooth mesially, and the earlobeshaped process absent, 4 setae distally. Pedipalpal bulb smooth, ovoid. Prolateral lobe large. Median apophysis furcated apically, sclerotized distinctly. Embolus translucent, sharply triangular. Conductor undeveloped.

Female. Similar to male in general features and somatic coloration, but body size larger and legs shorter. Total length 2.30. Prosoma 1.02 long, 0.90 wide. Sternum 0.62 long, 0.60 wide. Opisthosoma 1.34 long, 1.06 wide. Clypeus 0.20 high. Six eyes, white, without black bases.
