Remarks. Ageniella is the second most diverse genus in Ageniellini , with about 130 species and 9 subgenera. It has been recorded previously from the Dominican Republic by Banks (1944) and Perez-Gelabert (2008). Three subgenera ( Ageniella Banks, 1912 , Ameragenia Banks, 1945, and Priophanes Banks, 1944) and five species are found in the Dominican Republic. Two species are endemic.
