Remarks. Species of Caliadurgus are usually parasites of orb weaving spiders. It is present in all but the Australian zoogeographic region. Although this is a well-represented genus in the Neotropics ( Townes 1957), only one species occurs in the Caribbean. This is the first record of this genus for the Dominican Republic.
