Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from congeners by the forewing greyish brown in anterior 3/5 and yellowish white in posterior 2/5; in the male genitalia by the vesica of the aedeagus with dense spicules medially in distal half.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2‒9 ). Wingspan 11.5–14.0 mm. Head yellowish brown. Labial palpus yellowish white on inner surface; second segment pale yellowish brown, with a fine longitudinal dark brown line on outer surface in some individuals; third segment yellowish brown on outer surface. Antenna pale greyish brown, scape tinged with blackish brown scales. Thorax greyish yellow; tegula dark greyish brown. Forewing with anterior 3/5 greyish brown; posterior 2/5 yellowish white except narrowly greyish brown along ventral margin; fringe greyish brown. Hindwing grey; fringe greyish brown. Legs yellowish white except foreleg blackish brown on outer side, mid tibia with greyish brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus black at apex, hind tarsus with greyish brown bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres. Abdomen yellowish brown.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 15‒20 ). Uncus elongate triangular, wide basally, narrowed toward pointed apex, with long setae laterally. Gnathos tongue-shaped, broad basally, slightly narrowed to rounded apex. Tegumen with height approximately same length as uncus. Valva subparallel from base to cucullus; cucullus triangular, extending obliquely upward, rounded apically; costa produced triangularly; sacculus narrowly banded, slightly concave near base on ventral margin, apically reaching ventral corner of cucullus, free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus V-shaped, approximately 1/3 length of uncus. Juxta sub-rectangular, slightly widened medially, obtuse on anterior and posterior margins; anellar lobes small and rounded, with setae, approximately 1/4 length of juxta. Aedeagus approximately 1.5 times length of valva, almost uniformly wide, with a sclerotized plate near base, with numerous spicules ranging from middle to apex; distal process lanceolate, 3/10 length of aedeagus, pointed at apex.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 28‒32 ). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 1.4 times length of papillae anales.Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite rectangular; eighth stenite produced anteriorly. Antrum funnel-shaped. Ductus bursae almost uniformly wide, approximately same length as corpus bursae. Corpus bursae sub-rounded; with two bar-shaped signa at middle, each with a sclerotized ridge, left signum longer than right one. Ductus seminalis from posterior part of corpus bursae, basal 1/4 broad, slender distally, with dense granules in distal half; bulla rounded, beyond basal 1/4.

Distribution. China (Hainan).
