Tokophrya cyclopum (Claparède & Lachmann, 1859)
Pyramid shaped body with capitate tentacles arranged in two fascicles in the apical region; the macronucleus is spherical and occupies the central part of the trophont; the stalk is about the same length as the body and the contractile vacuole are located centrally of the body.
Known previous records. There are no worldwide previous records on families Cambaridae and Pseudothelphusidae . For other crustaceans T. cyclopum has been recorded on Bathynella sp., Niphargus sp., Gammarus sp., Diacyclops bicuspidatus (Claus, 1857) (cited as Cyclops bicuspidatus ), Cyclops sp., Diaptomus sp., Epischura sp. and on Eucyclops agilis agilis (Koch, 1838) (cited as Eucyclops agilis ) ( Curds 1985b; Matthes & Guhl 1988; Fernandez- Leborans & Tato-Porto 2000). Dovgal (2013) reported T. cyclopum on Eucyclops serrulatus serrulatus (Fischer, 1851) (cited as Eucyclops serrulatus ), Cyclops insignis Claus, 1857 , C. vicinus vicinus Uljanin, 1875 (cited as Cyclops vicinus ), C. strenuus strenuus Fischer, 1851 (cited as Cyclops strenuus ), Megacyclops gigas (Claus, 1857) (cited as Acanthocyclops gigas ), Acanthocyclops vernalis vernalis (Fischer, 1853) (cited as Acanthocyclops vernalis ), A. americanus (Marsh, 1893) , Megacyclops viridis viridis (Jurine, 1820) (cited as Acanthocyclops viridis ), Macrocyclops fuscus (Jurine, 1820) , Mesocyclops leuckarti leuckarti (Claus, 1857) (cited as Mesocyclops leuckarti ) and on Diacyclops bicuspidatus bicuspidatus (Claus, 1857) .
