Brief ecologic notes
Metapocyrtus hamiguitan View in CoL was collected at 1037 masl in a habitat that is categorized as a secondarygrowth forest with young trees and lesser disturbance further away from the campsite. The area is montane forest according to Amoroso and Aspiras (2011). Specimens were opportunistically collected along an ant transect line by handpicking during the start of the rainy season ( Amoroso & Aspiras, 2011).
