Ancyronyx variegatus ( Germar, 1824) View in CoL species-group
This is a less diverse species-group, comprising 13 species from Asia and one species from the Nearctic. All species are winged, able to fly and some of them were collected at light. Some of these species are widely distributed and rather frequently collected. One new species from Sulawesi is described herein. Larvae are known for A. helgeschneideri
Freitag and Jäch, 2007, A. procerus Jäch, 1994 , A. schillhammeri Jäch, 1994 and A. variegatus ( Brown 1972; Freitag and Balke 2011; Freitag 2013).
