Nanophyes marmoratus marmoratus (Goeze, 1777) new to Ontario and Quebec

Note.

This species was introduced to New York State for the biological control of purple loosestrife, Lythrum salicaria L. ( Lythraceae ) ( Anderson 2003).It is likely that the new Ontario and Quebec records represent natural dispersal from the adjacent northern USA.
