Material examined— Coahuila: Sabinas, Neotoma micropus Baird, I.1944 , A. Dampf, 2 males, 2 females.

Remarks—This is the first record of O. intermedius in Mexico. It was collected in the northern part of Mexico at 34 m. Lewis (2000) recorded this species from the centralwestern portions of the United States (Kansas, Oklahoma and Colorado) between 1,000 m. and from Texas and New Mexico, near the Mexican border from Neotoma albigula Hartley , as well as N. micropus .
