Basionym: Scirpus neochinensis Tang & F.T.Wang , in Fl. Reipubl. Popul. Sin. 11: 223 ( Tang & Wang 1961). Type:— CHINA. Guangdong: Guangzhou , wasteland, 12 November 1952, S.H. Chen 8160 (holotype SCBI) .
