Diagnosis.
Adult. Wings with some broad brown markings; anterior Banksian line present; rhegma area with dark brown spot; forewing cubital area with a brown marking; male pilula axillaris present ( Zheng et al. 2022, 2024 b). Third instar larva. Mandible hardly upturned, with pseudo-teeth developed in addition to three normal teeth. Mesothoracic tuft of long hair-like setae absent. Thoracic setiferous processes pedunculated and well developed. Abdomen generally green with many dark brownish markings; a pair of setiferous processes present on each side of abdominal segments 2–7; abdominal sternite VIII without odontoid processes; abdominal sternite IX longer than wide, triangular ( Zheng et al. 2022).
Distribution.
Asia ( China, India, Japan, Korea peninsula, Malay peninsula, Russia (Far East), Vietnam) ( Zheng et al. 2022).
