Dimensions (mm) (Holotype male/ paratype male/ paratype female). Total length, 9.75/8.60/9.40; prothoracic length, 1.65/1.40/1.35; anterior prothoracic width, 1.65/1.55/1.70; posterior prothoracic width, 2.00/1.85/2.05; maximum prothoracic width, 2.35/2.15/2.35; humeral width, 3.30/2.95/3.30; elytral length, 7.00/6.25/7.05.

Type material. Holotype male from ECUADOR, Pichincha: Cascadas de Nambillo , 1400 m, Mindo, 20.VI.2021, J. Vlasak leg. ( MZSP) . Paratype male and paratype female, same data as holotype ( JVCO) .

Etymology. The specific epithet “flavoviride” (from Latin flavus (yellow) and viridis (green)) refers to the yellowish-green pubescence of this species.

Remarks. Nealcidion flavoviride sp. nov. belongs to the group of species without a distinct longitudinal carina on dorsal surface of the elytra. The conspicuous yellowish-green pubescence clearly distinguishes it from other known species of the genus.
