Bulletin de l’Herbier Boissier, sér 2, 1 (6): 578 (1901). — Lectotype (here designated): Mocquerys 424 ( G [ G00023980 ]).
Mocquerys 424 is here chosen as the lectotype of Diospyros mangabensis Aug.DC. instead of the other syntype (Mocquerys 411) because of the more complete description of the flowers and inflorescences on the label.
