Neotype (Archer in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 180. 2004): South Africa. Ceres district, 1.4km along road to Witsenberg Valley from top of Gydo Pass, 20 Sep 1991, Reid 1381 (PRE; iso- NBG).

Current name: Tetraria ustulata (L.) C.B. Clarke View in CoL ( Cyperaceae ).
