Holotype: OMNH 22788 View Materials , left dentary fragment with m1 or 2.
Type locality and horizon: OMNH V 58, 8 km northnorth-east of Study Butte, Brewster County, Texas, USA. Upper shale member, Aguja Formation, Late Cretaceous (late Campanian).
Revised diagnosis: About 40% smaller than G. pachymandibularis in dental measurements.
