Type species: Tepperotettix reliqua Rehn, 1952 , by original designation.

Composition. This genus is monotypic.

Remarks. Recently this genus was revised and excluded from subfamily Cladonotinae , though Tepperotettix is exceptionally similar to Devriesetettix , most notably in facial morphology: both have very similarly shaped scutellum, extremely similar carinae of the vertex, and the position of the antennal grooves are also identical ( Kasalo et al., 2023). Therefore, Tepperotettix is placed here in Trusmaditetrigini trib. nov.
