Distribution. Indonesia (New Guinea Island).

Remark. This species was described in the genus Mazarredia Bolívar, 1887 (Metrodorinae) , while latter placed in the section Cladonotae ( Günther, 1938b), and finally to the subfamily Cladonotinae ( Tumbrinck, 2014) . The name of this species was misspelled by Tumbrinck as “ dorrea ” but the accepted name is still “ dorreus ” as it is a general practice to take the suffix - tettix as masculine.
